V10 Plus Water Based Peeling Facial Mask Review

HELLO, GUYS! Omg, it's been forever since I blogged. This is actually my first blog post in 2014, so sad :'( I really didn't have much time to blog, sorry for that. But I'm finally back! And if you notice, I've cut my hair short! ^^

So today, I'm going to review my holy grail mask that was sent for me from V10 Plus.

"What is it?"

This peeling mask is a WATER BASED peeling, which is very gentle to your skin. It claims to exfoliates your skin without any harsh scrubs. It cleanse your dead skin cells and brighten your skin. Furthermore, this peeling mask contains Rice Extract and Seaweed Extract.

Rice Extract
Natural source of antioxidants, which are Tocopherol, Tocotrienol, Gamma Oryzanol, Phytosterol, Polyphenol and Squalene. It fights against free radicals and helps to slow aging process.

Seaweed Extract
Seaweed has been known to rejuvenate your skin and very moisturizing as well.

This peeling mask has won an award in Finland's Cosmopolitan Magazine in 2013, and V10 Plus itself got lots of awards. how cool!

This is how the product looks like.

They are packaged in sachets like this. Very good for girls (and guys) who love travelling! You can slip it in your bag or pouch, and you're ready to use it wherever you are! Sadly, the package doesn't has a "teared" part to open it (if you know what I mean), so I need to use scissor to open it.

It has a gel form and it is VERY watery when you spread it. Of course, because it is water based. It really feels like spreading water all over your skin when you apply it. I really love the texture of it. What I don't like is only the scent. It smells very alcohol-ly.

1. Spread the V10 peeling mask all over your washed & dry face. Let it sit for 5 seconds.
2. Gently massage your face with a circular motion.
3. Dead skin cells will pop up!
4. Wash it off with lukewarm water, and you're done!

You're curious how the dead skin cells look like? Here they are!

What's that white things!? Those are dead skin cells! Kinda gross, huh? Hahaha :p

So here's a weird looking compilation of my forehead's progress from before using the mask until after using the mask for several times.

sorry for the super bad quality, taken with my ipad
At first, I had lots of pimples on my forehead. They were super stubborn. I never had that much pimples before, but suddenly they just popped out together when I was on my finals last month. I think it's because of the stress (didn't sleep properly at that time). I tried different skincare products, but somehow they didn't work.
note: I have acne-prone, sensitive, combination skin.

So V10 Plus kindly sent me their peeling mask. Then I used this mask for several times (about every 2 or 3 days), and voila! Now my forehead is less bumpy, but there's still some of the scars. But I can see a huge difference between then and now!

Just remember if you have quite a lot of pimples like I did, rub the mask gently, or else it will hurt your pimple. And always be happy! Stress can cause you breakouts!

Now I can happily take selfies with my (almost) pimple free face! Hahaha :p Thank you V10 Plus!

That's it for today. See yaaaa! xoxoxo

Burgundy Christmas Look + Etude House Dear Darling Tint No. 2 Real Red

We wish you a merry christmas~ <3<3<3
It's that time of the year again, holy jolly CHRISTMAS
I am super duper excited right now, because I'm going to have christmas dinner with my friends and family soon.

Today, I'm going to show you this winter make up trend, which is Burgundy color. It's a really pretty deep pinkish red color which will warm up your christmas night.

The main focuses of this look is the eye and lips. Don't go super bold, or else you'll look like you've been punched.

This is the eyes. Here are the steps:
1. Brighten your lids by applying a shimmery white shadow all over.
2. Apply a deep burgundy color at the outer part of your lid, blend inwards.
3. Darken the most outer part of your eyes with a deep brown color to enhance your eyes, bring it down to your outer lower eyes.
4. Blend nicely with a fluffy brush.
5. Apply a gold color at your inner corners, blend it with the burgundy color. Also highlight your under eye.
6. Apply more burgundy color for a more "pop" looking.
7. Apply eyeliner and your favorite mascara.

for the lips:

1. Apply Etude House Dear Darling Tint no. 2 at the center of your lips. Work slowly, then blend it out.
2. For a softer look, apply a concealer that match your skin tone at the edge of your lips, blend it with the liptint.
3. Apply a pinkish lipcolor to blend the deep red.
4. Apply a clear gloss for finishing touch.

That's it!
Now moving on to the review.

I really really love this lip tint! I love how it has a real red tone in it. It has a gel consistency, which doesn't dry out my lips that much. it has a cherry kind of smell, and the best part is... it isn't bitter. I hated liptints because usually it has a bitter taste, but this one doesn't! Love it so much. This will be my everyday lipcolor from now.

I also love the packaging. it's sturdy, and it has a very princessy design on the cap. Love etude's products <3<3

And that's it for today! I hope you find it helpful.
